Rob Danter read Music and Education at Cambridge where his course included Conducting and Organ Performance. Since graduating he has had a varied musical career, as a teacher, organist, accompanist, consort singer, music editor and composer. He has a special interest in a cappella singing, Baroque and French organ music, and in editing and typesetting choral and instrumental scores. As an organist he has held posts at St. Peter’s Civic Church, St. Albans; Watford Parish Church; and St. Michael’s, Melksham. Rob has been accompanist to Melksham, Corsham and Trowbridge Philharmonic Choral Societies, and in addition to directing Con Brio is accompanist to Westbury Choral Society. He teaches Piano and Organ privately. Apart from music, his other interests include Astronomy, English Slipware, and anything to do with France.
